The Essential Blender Is In Your Mailbox
Jun 19th, 2007 by admin
Well, maybe not in your mailbox, but the truck load of skids of books went to the post office in the Netherlands on Monday. Reports have come in from people who have the book in their grubby little hands already. The word from the top is that people can expect five to eight business days for delivery outside of the immediate area.
Mate, just came here to say congratulations.
I got my copy this morning and since then I’ve trawled through the pages enthusiastically.
Essential blender is a very well written book. I wish I had ordered more copies.
i have already post at Blendernation.

hope will be downloadable color pictures.
hope will be downloadable video tutorials for every talking in the book , it’s great for my poor English. :p
I’m starting to put the screenshots up, but there are several dozen MBs of them, and technical barriers to getting them there easily.
As for video tutorials, I’ll be frank and say that this wasn’t really the aim of the book. There are plenty of video tutorials already available on the web for Blender — this book was for people who prefer a printed, solid object on their desk while they work.
Of course, nothing’s stopping anyone from reading from the book and recording the tutorials with wink or something, then posting them on the web. Sounds like a great community project to me!
